By enrolling in the ACT Boost Lab, your student gets access to a program designed by an ACT Certified Educator to build confidence, reinforce key academic skills, and elevate overall performance on the ACT.
The ACT is a college‑readiness exam used by colleges, scholarship programs, and some dual‑enrollment pathways. It includes four required sections and is divided into several timed sections.
The English section lasts 45 minutes and includes 75 questions focused on grammar, punctuation, and writing skills.
The Math section provides 60 minutes to answer 60 questions covering algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and general problem‑solving.
The Reading section is 35 minutes long with 40 questions that assess comprehension, analysis, and the use of evidence.
The Science section also lasts 35 minutes and contains 40 questions centered on data interpretation, charts, and experimental scenarios.
There is also an optional Writing section.
Many colleges consider ACT scores as part of the admissions process.
Higher scores can qualify students for merit‑based scholarships, including state programs and institutional awards (yes, TOPS)
Some programs require minimum ACT scores for enrollment.
Strong ACT performance often boosts students’ belief in their academic abilities.
